With her academic experience, Dr. Smith looks forward to meeting patients and helping them maintain or improve their pearly whites. Nothing is more fulfilling than being able to create a positive impact in the lives of others, especially when it comes to having a smile they can be proud of. For her, the best part of her job is working with an amazing, passionate team and having the honor to serve a fantastic community.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Smith first studied at Jackson State University before beginning her career in dentistry at Meharry Medical College. She earned her Master's in Health Sciences, became certified in Basic Life Support, and later volunteered at several Remote area Medical Dental Clinics. Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When she isn’t at the office helping patients achieve their dental goals, Dr. Smith spends much of her time with her family and loved ones. Her hobbies involve trying new foods, staying active, kickboxing, art and photography, fashion, traveling, and just being in nature. She once even swam to a deserted island!
